• If the applicant is a UAE resident, a no objection letter from the sponsor is required, as is a copy of the applicant’s visa or UID.

Branch Of A Local Company

This license is available to companies who have a valid license from any other UAE licensing organization.

The following items are required with the Application Form:

• Copy of the company manager’s passport – valid for at least 6 months
• Photograph of the company’s manager in color
• Copy of company manager’s visa or UID 
• Trade License copy
• Copy of the MOA Board Resolution

Branch Of A Foreign Company

Licenses in this category are granted to companies based outside of the UAE. The company’s ownership will be entirely foreign. However, sales can only be done through a registered agent or distributor in the UAE. The activity could be commercial, industrial/manufacturing, or service-related. Documents Required for Submission with the Application Form:

• Copy of company manager’s passport – valid for at least 6 months
• Photograph of the company’s manager in color
• Company manager’s visa copy
• Trade License Copy
• MOA Copy
• Board Resolution Copy

Freezone Company

A license in this category will be awarded to corporate individuals who form a corporation.

Industrial/manufacturing, commercial, or service activities are all possible. Documents Required for Submission with the Application Form:

• Copy of each partner’s passport that is valid for at least 6 months
• Each partner’s-colored photograph
• If the applicant is a UAE resident, a no objection letter from the sponsor is required, as is a copy of each partner’s visa or UID.
