Firstly, create a detailed description of the operations carried out in one’s firm

Appoint a local service agent to handle all of the legal requirements for obtaining a professional license in Dubai.

Obtain preliminary permission from the DED following an appointment.

Finally, to reserve a business name (by paying a fee) and then submit all relevant documentation to the DED for approval

Prepare the Memorandum Of Association(MOA) with the local service agent.

The sponsor has an annual fee, indicate the same in the agreement. An additional application form is required when it comes to Civil Company License requirement. Get it filled and attested from the Notary.

  • Fill up the local service agreement form with a local translator and get it attested by a public notary service.
  • If the agreement is in Arabic, no legal translator seal is required.
  • Create a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the sponsor.
  • In the agreement, mention the sponsor’s yearly fee.
  • If you are obtaining a license for a civil company, you must complete an additional application form and have it attested.
  • To execute the court agreement, all partners or owners must appear before a notary.
  • Obtain municipal approval for the tenancy contract.
  • Submit all forms together with attestation (one original copy each)
  • Submit passport copies of owners/partners, as well as NOCs for expatriate owners/partners (if any), to any DED branch.
  • Pay at the counter to obtain the license; a payment voucher will be supplied at the same time.

  • Copies of owners’ or partners’ passports
  • Naturalization book from a local partner
  • If the ex-pat already has an employment visa, the sponsors must provide a No-Objection Certificate (NOC). If the shareholder is on a visit visa, he or she must provide his or her UID number.
  • Foreign partners must provide a copy of their visit, tourist, or transit visa.
  • Depending on the sort of activity to be done, preliminary authorisation from the relevant authorities is required (e.g., the Municipality, RTA, National Media Council, etc.)
